미국 언더그라운드 락계의 대부라는 명예로 (혹은 REM등과 함께 얼터시대의 개막을 알린 선구자들로) 그냥 편하게 먹고 살거나, 아니면 적당히 돈을 벌기위한 앨범을 제작할 수도 있을 터인데 이들은 여전히 초심그대로였다. 아니, 그 초심이 계속 발전 계승되는 (앨범안에서 자가계승되는) 걸 보면서 이 정도의 밴드가 존재하니 역시 미국락이란 것은 대단하다 싶었다.
그 기둥을 굳건히 하면서도, 항상 변화하며 깊어졌다 떠올랐다 한다. 할말이 없는 진짜배기 밴드.
